Import of JT data from different sources

To avoid constant configuration changes, you can create variants when importing 3D drawings (JT, fmesh).

Your advantage: You can now quickly switch between several configuration options, which simplifies the merging of different 3D data sources.

Hierarchically copy also for drawing pool

You know the case that your assembly changes, but you still need and want to preserve the old assembly status for other purposes.
With "Create new version hierarchically" we offer you a wonderful possibility to freeze e.g. temporary states or delivery states, whereby the main branch lives on dynamically. Thanks to the new function, a version-safe freezing of the state is now also possible with regard to the graphics.

Versioning of drawings during parts list import

In general, drawings are saved unversioned in the database during a parts list import.

Optionally, you can now version drawings during BOM import, whereby the drawing receives the same version as the assembly to which it is assigned.

Catalogue creators thus reduce the time they spend creating the import data.

Create thumbnails

Do you suffer performance losses when changing an assembly? Then we recommend that you create preview graphics.

The smaller preview graphics allow a faster and more efficient display when displaying thumbnail graphics.
This function is aimed primarily at customers with numerous large images.

Automatic check for updates

As of the new release, you have the option of automatically checking whether updates are available.

If the automatic check setting is activated and updates are available, the 'Update' dialog is displayed when you start the catalogue.

You are now always up to date and avoid installing updates late.

Jump from catalogue to documentation

In standard, a click on the book symbol in the parts catalogue meant that the document opened.

The catalogue creator can now define on which page, with which chapter or jump target the document is opened. This makes it easier for your service technicians and customers to search for long periods of time and get them to their destination quickly.

WebGL representation of unlinked parts

Until now, 3D representations were always displayed, regardless of whether the 3D representation was linked to the parts/assembly in the parts list or not.

In the future, you will have the option to customize the display of non-linked parts according to your needs.

  •  Visible (Fig.1)
  •  Semitransparent (Fig.2)
  •  Hidden (Fig. 3)

Stay logged in

If users of the Parts Shop inadvertently close the application, a new login is necessary.

From now on, users can decide at login whether they want to stay logged in after closing the Parts Shop or re-enter their username and password.

Dealing with addresses in the ordering process

An address is preset in the current order process. However, you want to avoid addresses being overlooked or entered twice. Therefore, your customer should actively select the appropriate address.

In order to avoid orders to incorrect addresses, your users now have several options:

  • No preassignment of addresse
The address fields are empty, the user must consciously select the address in the selection menu.
  • The address list in the selection menu should be sorted
The user receives a selection menu in which the addresses are sorted.
  • Organizational/user-specific standard address
In the ordering process, the address is preset for the organization/user.
