Brief description
Use the Update Manager to update your catalogue CDs without having to distribute new CDs.
The tool supports you in providing protected modified or new catalogue data from your
central catalogue database to the Intra/Internet. To update catalogue CDs already
in circulation authorised persons (dealers, after sales service employees, customers etc.)
may access this data via Intra/Internet and update CD catalogues containing old data.
Importing current data requires just a few mouse clicks. The Delta Update assures that
only modified data are moved and download times are minimised as far as possible.
The update status of the catalogue CD will be taken into account on the import of new data.
If previous data updates have not been performed, this will be displayed and assured that
the latest data version reaches the catalogue CD. Updated data is automatically marked by
an icon in the catalogue. It is therefore immediately recognisable as modified or new data.
